"Je suis Apiculteur depuis l'âge de 7 ans. J'accompagnais ma tante qui avait des ruches près de Digne-les-bians, dans les Alpes de Haute Provence. Au sortir d'études de biologie et d'apiculture, j'ai suivi une formation de naturopathe, médecine chinoise et acupuncture avant de gravir tous les échelons dans l'organisation non gouvernementale Apimondia dont j'ai assuré la vice-présidence de la commission apithérapie pendant 14 années (de 1997 à 2011)".
